Buy nowHi Corki.
I understand that you need to bring in the bank transactions to QuickBooks Desktop.
QuickBooks Desktop only supports QBO files. You'll want to visit the QuickBooks Desktop Apps Store. From there, you'll see all the supported third-party apps including file converters that you can use.
Also, make sure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated. If you're using a non-supported version, online banking or direct connect won't work which could be the reason why it crashes when you try to link your bank.
If you're unable to convert the file using a third-party converter, you'll want to manually do it. Download again the file from your bank and open it to review the content. Then, make sure to save it again as a QBO file. For the detailed steps, please check this link and proceed to Solution 5: Message: "No new transactions" when importing web connect file.
Post again here if you have more questions. We'll respond as soon as we can.
