I used the Windows Defender Firewall rules as described to stop this annoying popup.  It really sucks that we need block QuickBooks in our firewall to stop something we never wanted in the first place.  I wish QuickBooks actually listened to their customers.  I have been using QuickBooks since the 90s and I have been complaining about all the annoying popups for marketing etc. ever since QuickBooks first added them and QuickBooks has never listened to any of my complaints.  I don't see why they would listen now.  I wish there was a better product out there because I would probably change if it existed.
