Thank you Jen_D for your reply, but sadly your recommendation had been tried, ages ago, by the community.

However... your recommendation is counter-intuitive.

• You say TURN OFF the checkmark in the item "Turn off pop up messages for products and services"
  Remove the check mark beside it then click OK.
  • That is very confusing.... check an item means make it happen (turn off) but you say it does the opposite?

What gives?
