To ensure the safety of your company file, QuickBooks requires you to log in to your intuit account when accessing your company file and opening a third-party application.

I can see that like you, other users are also having difficulties with this new update. Rest assured our product team is aware of this and is looking for ways in modifying it. For now, you can refer to the workaround shared by my peers above to get around this.
