Hi there, @e-fluent1.

Let's make sure that the shared file and the Database Server Manager are in good conditions. We can follow the steps recommended by Rasa-Lilam.

Once done, you can proceed with the guide provided by JamesDuanT to resolve it permanently by doing these steps:

  1. Set up folder sharing correctly.
  2. Configure the Database Server Manager.
  3. Set your firewall permissions.
  4. Update the Database Server Manager.

For reference and further information about these steps, you can check this article: Install QuickBooks Database Server Manager. Then update the release version of your QuickBooks.

If you encounter other issues while doing the process within your company file, you can reference these troubleshooting guides:

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching our Technical Support team to investigate the hurdle with their tools in a secure environment. Once they found out the root cause of it, they'll share you additional fixes.

QuickBooks use complex languages to keep your data safe. SQL, MySQL, dBase IV, and other database languages are more likely prone to injectors that may cause placement of data. You can ask more questions about this in our developer's site: Intuit Developer.

Please let me know if you have other concerns with QuickBooks. I'll respond as fast as I can. Take care and have a great day!
