Everything on your Mac such as documents, pictures, music, apps, and more is organized in folders. We can create a new folder to keep the old QuickBooks company files there. Just choose File on the desktop and click the New Folder option, or press Shift-Command-N. Then, enter a name for the folder and press Return.
Once done, click the Finder icon in the Dock to open a Finder window. From there, put the old files by dragging them to the folder.
