This feels like a precursor towards forcing all Quickbooks users to a cloud implementation along with the corresponding "annuity" pricing model.  This not only would involve storing financial data in the cloud but creates an ongoing expense for the business and an income stream for Intuit.

Not a fan for this kind of an application.  Intuit, can you say this isn't the case?
