Hello there, @SillyMookie.

Let me share with you some information about importing journal entries to QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) has multiple ways of importing bulk transactions. One of these is by using an Excel CSV file that's limited to deposits, checks, and payments. The option to import journal entries differ in the country/region of QuickBooks you're currently using. The instruction on the link you've added is actually for QBO UK versions.

For QBO US, you may consider using a third-party tool to import your journal entries. You can check for supported apps from the Apps menu or through this link: Find the right apps for your business.

I can see how importing journal entries would be beneficial to you and others as well. Rest assured our engineers never stop to develop QuickBooks and deliver the best experiences for all users. Hopefully, this will be included in the coming updates.
