I want to begin by saying that your description of the security requirements is not at all how Intuit meant to made you feel. Please know your best interest is the only intention with the security requirements for your Desktop account.

With that being said, I can also see the desire for an option to opt out or turn certain security measures off. I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to the Product Development Team to let them know you'd like to see these changes.
