From what you described, it sounds like that wasn't a valid phone call from us. Good to know there's no credit card information shared over the phone. To prevent this, we recommend not including any private information about your account. Refrain from posting your personal/business phone numbers and email addresses here in the Community and other public forums.
You can report this incident to us by providing the details of the caller to our Intuit Security team.
Here's how:
- Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/.
- Click Contact Us.
- Look for the Report technical support scams option and click on it.
