You can get help with a diagnosis of your computer by requesting a callback with our Desktop Support Team. They'll be able to start a screen share with you and go through all the major and minor steps to fix the slow issue you're having. The steps below will show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Type Desktop in the box.
  3. Press Contact Us.
  4. Near the bottom of the box, hit Get a callback.
  5. Enter your contact information and then push Confirm my call.

 

One of our support agents will be in contact with you shortly. While you wait, I suggest having your IT department look into your computer and see if they can find any reasons as to why the system is slowing down. This will help in the process of determining why Desktop is being slow.
