Quickbooks hosting multiple files on single server

Greetings,

I am working with a company that uses quickbooks to manage all of its DBA entities.

The quickbooks server currently is holding 12 company files with two users jumping between files throughout the day.

The issue is that on occasion, one of the company files will switch to single user mode. There is no H202 error, The user can easily switch back to single user mode, But I am perplexed as to why it switches.

I have performed some standard fixes that would apply to the H202 error. I have:

Set the local qbwuser.ini file to say multiusermode=Y and set the file as Read-Only

I stopped quickbooks service on the server and removed the ND and TLG files then started the service and recreated them with a login.

I was able to test by switching company files on one machine at the same time another user was switching files and I was able to get one of my files (that was previously in multi user mode) to switch to single user mode. There was no error, and it was able to switch back easily.

Is there a connection problem or possibly a fix for this that will allow my users to switch between company files and leave ALL the files in multi user mode? Has anyone else seen something similar?

Thanks
