So I reached out to the executive level via linked in Chief tech officer & they reached out to office of the president & had this case closed & suddenly they said whoa I guess we do need to help you. However, its the same garbage, send us a file let's look at your pc etc. Bunch of simply attempting to ignore the larger issue that they need to rebuild QB desktop structure from the ground up. They have acknowledged the issue now but they leave it not fixed to push accountants to QBO, which has its own set of major issues. Namely not being able to edit mid-year payroll & having to allow someone in the Philippines do it. Which I am fine with but you can't actually speak with the person who is doing it. Philippines customer service on some issues has improved recently but not this. I essentially had to force my way through to Oklahoma customer service & a tier 3 rep & a manager (above a supervisor) actually took my issue seriously. Anyways once I have an opportunity & this quarter's payroll is over I will attempt once again for QB to resolve this since it is a demand from Intuit executive level now & not from bottom up. Maybe we can team up on actually having QB fix this now that they have recognized & replicated it.
