You're using Quickbooks Desktop 2019, and I get that you wana add photos to inventory items. Sadly, adding photos directly to inventory items in Quickbooks Desktop isn't an option. The feature you're thinking about does exist in Quickbooks online, where you can attach images and files directly to items. For the Desktop version, you'll need a workaround.

Some folks opt for custom fields. You can add a custom field in the item list where you store the image link. But this means hosting the image externally, like on a cloud service, and then pasting the link in the custom field. It ain't perfect since it doesn't provide a direct image view in QuickBooks but it’s functional.

Another option, if you really need this built in well, would be layering extra software on top of quickbooks, maybe an asset management tool that syncs data back to Quickbooks Desktop.

I know it’s a bit tricky, but these are your main options unless you are thinking about moving to Quickbooks online, which makes this so much easier. If you are considering it, weigh the costs and benefits against your current setup and what you need.
