But your QuickBooks data, including sensitive info from customers and employees will be at security risk and you will still be advised to update your operating system to help protect them.

Once the specified date of Microsoft comes that they will no longer provide security updates or support to the older version, QBDT will also follow it.

This means, if QBDT has an update, it might ruin your account or not work because Windows 10 is not a suitable operating system for it, since the new one will have functions that are not available to the previous structure.
