Condensing a company file is a major operation in QuickBooks Desktop. It is an irreversible process that makes permanent changes to the company file. As a result, QuickBooks only allows the primary user to perform this action.

 

To ensure the success of the condensing of your company file, I recommend reaching out to your Intuit primary admin. With their authorized access, they can handle this process securely and efficiently.

 

If needed, you can request the primary admin to transfer the primary admin role to you so that you can manage the company file condensing process.
