Under Payroll Tax Forms, I was unable to file the IRS 941 Form for the quarter.

Kept trying to upgrade.

The message from within Quickbooks was to contact Payroll Support.

But they don't provide a phone number.

I called a number which I do not remember.

I reached what I thought was Intuit, but was instead Data Service Solutions.

After some checking, They indicated I had a corrupt file 87% to be exact.

$ 2,300 to fix it.  $ 20 per MB or

$ $ 2,795 for one year support.

I asked if they were Intuit and they claimed they were.

I did not feel comfortable with their answer.  They seem legit, but they are passing themselves off as Intuit.

I ended the call.

Was able to verify the integrity of my file. Checked the QBWin.log and everything seems fine.

When Quickbooks gives you an error and says contact a specific department, why can't the software put in a phone number to call?
