Got a chance to chat with the boss, he does a lot of product review and updates. There were multiple errors in Ver23 for import: Colums would change or it would just fail, you'd have to go through the process 6 times to get it to stick, who knows what that was doing to the (Whatever they call a database) - Exports, just got straight failure messages with no code or anything to help troubleshoot. That's when we downgraded back to 22 and have been on it ever since. (Back then, we weren't the only ones to suffer - importing and exporting might work better now, I ahve no choice so I guess we'll find out this weekend when I'm installing and reinstalling the update until it works - hopefully I won't have to go into windows and remove EVERY version of .net back to 2018 again like I've had to do everytime I've update Quickbooks in the last 6 or 7 years. Yeah, it's literally what I imagine hell will be like when i get there.
