We're beginning to look for alternatives to QB. Having to deal with forced updates is the final straw; our work to keep QB going as a user for over 20 years is becoming too time-consuming. The forced sign-in, then forced cloud, and others are among a few issues that are wasting our time and decreasing our productivity and security not to mention  the rapidly increasing fees. 

I'll post later what alternative we've switched to if you're like us: running multiple small businesses with no employees and no need for other advanced apps. We just need a basic double-entry accounting system.
