In QB's Enterprise, I have found the only way to fix JE's in bills is by deleting the JE and reentering it. Apparently if you edit a JE, the total just keeps adding to the balance in the JE. Be sure to delete & reenter the JE reversal if one was done. This cleared up a lot of balances in various accounts, just by deleting the entry and re-entering it the exact same way...
