To use QuickBooks in your Mac OS Monterey 12.6, you have to use QuickBooks Mac Plus 2022 R2 or newer versions. These are the versions that support it.

We recommend updating your QuickBooks Desktop( QBDT) 2019 to the latest version. Staying up-to-date with these releases helps maintain the software’s reliability, protects your financial data, and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.

But before that, I'd suggest backing up your company file for future use.
