Buy nowThis is crazy! I spent 3+ hours deleting special characters in the memo fields, and it didn't work. The spoke to QB support and she told me to delete memorized transactions. With the deleted special characters and deleted memorized transactions, it finally opened for the accountant. This is pretty ridiculous that we pay $1000 a year for them to FORCE us to delete YEARS (from 2015 for me) of special characters - which by the way have NEVER caused a problem until this version. I have been using QB for Mac since 2015 and have NEVER had a problem converting our files for our accountant until this year.
So if they know it's a problem, why not fix the programming instead of forcing their customers to do hours of work to prepare the file for the accountant. Which, by the way crashed her Windows desktop version which then had to be re-downloaded and re-installed.
Then they tried to sell me Enterprise for double the price!! As a bookkeeper for a small mom and pop that has two corporations it's not feasible to pay over $2000 a year just so our accountant can get a Windows copy. Sounds like Intuit just wants everyone to switch to online or pay more for enterprise. How about hiring some programmers to fix the problem since it started with the 2024 version!
