hi. one thing we found is that the issue is not fqdn vs. ip. it is the multi user hosting on the db server.

if we turn off multi user hosting on the database server, the problem does not occur. also, if we do the process locally on the db server, even if multi user hosting is enabled, it does not occur. so, this is our workaround, to have users do it locally on the client installed on the db server.
