Buy nowWondering the same thing - did your issue get resolved? We also use Desktop Enterprise suite, have the files on a separate computer that does not have a daily user, and other users all access from their desktops.
This is an ongoing issue with us. We seem to get it resolved eventually through no actual changes, other than users having to constantly double check the "multi-user access" checkbox in the open dialog, or constant rebooting of everything. Then it hums along fine for months and then it goes haywire and inconsistent again, oftentimes seemingly in conjunction with big updates.
It take an inordinate amount of time and is highly annoying to the users and myself as the IT support.
Any new insights are greatly appreciated.
