Thanks for chiming in, @SpiritHomes. Let me help you navigate the process of handling taxes in your account.

If you're trying to check the status of your 1099 form and cannot find the Taxes menu, I recommend accessing your account using a private browsing window. This can help determine if the issue is related to your regular browser. Sometimes, excessive cache buildup can cause unexpected behavior in the product. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening a private browsing window:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

After using the private browser, check if Taxes menu is available. If the issue is resolved, return to your regular browser and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to clear the cache.

If the issue persists, please feel free to reach out to our live support team for direct assistance. Here’s how you can contact them:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Choose the (?) Help button at the top right corner, then go to Search tab.
  3. Type your concern in the Search questionskeywords or topics box.
  4. At the bottom, hit Contact Us.
  5. Choose either Chat or Callback.
