Hi,

 

I have desktop version 24.0 R11 updated to the most recent patch release R11_43. Based on the release note, this patch release came in mid December 2024. I now am unable to open up the application. The log I've been provided by IT (below) seems to suggest that Quickbooks was trying to connect to Internet Explorer, which has been prohibited as part of our company IT policy. Has anyone else encountered similar issue?

 

"An unexpected error has occured in "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Professional Services 24.0":
RegOpenKeyEx(HKLM, "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\IEXPLORE.EXE", 0, KEY_READ) returned 0x00000002"
