It sounds like you're looking to better manage your warehouse without using inventory in QuickBooks. Since you're already using Purchase Orders in QB, you can set up notifications when items are received by creating Custom Fields or adding Notes to each PO. For warehouse control, QuickBooks Desktop doesn't have a built-in warehouse management system, but you can use Warehouse 15 to streamline processes like receiving items, printing barcode labels, and syncing real-time data with QuickBooks.
