Desktop will, of course, copy the memo from the bill to the bill payment check, because that is, of course, what users want.

It has done this for about 30 years. It's not rocket science, QuickBooks Online. All you had to do was look at how Desktop works to figure out what to implement. But no, that would be too easy, wouldn't it?
