Buy nowWe have jobs that cross fiscal years. My issue occurs when I attempt to run a Job Profitability Summary/Detail Report for the current year and there are jobs that include transactions from the previous year. If I select jobs for the current fiscal year, then only transactions that occurred in the current year appear in the report.
If I am running the report for just a single job, this is easy to resolve...I just select the job and make sure the dates cover the entire period of the job.
But if attempt to use the same logic for all jobs , then the report includes all jobs from both years, even if they were closed in the previous year.
Is there a way to run the Job Profitability reports just for jobs that were active in the current year but include the transactions from a previous year? We need to know the true/total cost of our jobs. Please note that we are careful to populate the Projected End Date and the End Date for each job.
I appreciate any assistance/suggestions anyone can provide.
Thanks...Jonathan
