Talk about really messing with the client base and not knowing the clients that they serve. I expect that the original developer of the software was doing it for the money but also KNEW who the clients were but with this move, they clearly do not know who the client base is anymore because there are dollars and cents at play for them. There is a reasonable price for software but when they no longer care about a reasonable price but rather the ability to squeeze out the most, then there is a problem. I already changed and I expect that is some boardroom, there was the discussion about what is the acceptable client base loss but is made up for through the 300-400% price increase.
