I'll provide information concerning the memo alignment in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The feature to adjust the memo alignment in QBO is currently unavailable. I suggest sending feedback to our software engineers. They can consider adding it to our future product updates. Here's how:

 

  1. You can go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, press the Feedback button.
  3. Write your product suggestion, then click Next.

 

As a workaround, you can adjust the print alignment instead. However, it will not only update the memo alignment but will also move the employee's name, amount in words, and address. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the  Gear icon at the top right corner.
  2. Choose Payroll Settings.
  3. Hit the Align my printer button.
  4. Select Print alignment sheet, then enter the topmost letter in the Which letter is just above the line that says Pay to the Order of section based on the alignment sheet.
  5. Hit Save, then Done.
