Thanks for coming back to this thread, ericagghf. I appreciate you for attaching a screenshot to your response. Let me provide some information about the audit log entry made by System Administration.

The System Administration audit log profile shows changes made automatically by QuickBooks Online. This can happen for several reasons, such as:

  • When you modify a record, and that change impacts another record, a System Administration event may occur. For instance, if you edit a payment and link it to a different invoice, a System Administration event might be logged for the original invoice.
  • Connecting a third-party app to QuickBooks can also trigger a System Administration event. Whenever the external app sends data to QuickBooks or alters existing data, it appears as a System Administration event.
  • If you set up a recurring transaction, like a regular expense, QuickBooks will log a System Administration event when it automatically adds an instance of that transaction to your records.
  • Even when you're not signed in, automated events you’ve set up can generate System Administration events. For example, an update to your bank feeds might create such an event.

Therefore, I recommend reviewing the transactions you recently modified as the removal of the memo description might have occurred due to those changes.
