Make sure you have the latest QuickBooks updates installed to fix common problems. After that, right-click the desktop icon and choose Run as administrator. After that, we'll have to repair your program. Just a heads up, unsupported QuickBooks Desktop version (2018 and below) won't work with this process. 

 Here's how to do the steps on QuickBooks Tool Hub: 

1. Please exit from QuickBooks.  
2. You can download the latest version from the Tool Hub article.  
3. Follow the on-screen instructions for the installation.  
4. After the installation, execute the Tool Hub.  
5. From the tabs, select Program Problems, then choose Quick Fix my Program. 
6. Follow the prompts to begin the fix.
