I appreciate your efforts in bringing this to our attention, Kmj555ProAdv1. I'll share some information about the Tab functionality. 

 

To start, I may need to ask for further details about the issue encountered. Were you using the QuickBooks Online Accountant product when this problem occurred? If so, please note that we have an ongoing investigation - INV-104271 about the inability to use the Tab key in journal entries, invoices, and bills. In this case, I recommend contacting our Support Team. This way, you'll be listed as one of the affected users. You'll be notified about the course of this investigation accurately.   

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon.
  2. Choose the Contact Us tab.
  3. Click Ask about something else
  4. Key in the INV-104271 number.
  5. Select a way to connect with us:
    • Have us call you - We'll call you in about 5 minutes.
    • Call us - Call our support line directly.
    • Chat with us - Start a conversation. 

You can also visit our support hours page to ensure you'll be assisted on time. 

However, if you're not using the Accountant version, I recommend we perform some basic troubleshooting procedures to rule out the possibility of a browser issue. Perform the following: 

 

  1. Try using a private or incognito browser.
  2. Restart your browser.
  3. Clear your browser's cache.
  4. Add Intuit as a trusted site.
