Hello there.

Let me share information about transferring your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed to Turbo Tax.

You're right. Changing your sign-in info to match the two accounts cannot resolve the issue. You can choose what account you want to keep the sign-in info. Then, you can reach our Customer Care team to help you with other options to move your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed to Turbo Tax.

Here's how:

  1. From the Help menu:
  2. Go to Help (?) and select Contact Us.
  3. Or from the Assistant menu:
  4. Choose Assistant.
  5. Note: If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
  6. Enter "talk to a human", then select the enter icon.
  7. Select the options till you are prompted to choose a way to connect.

We have a workaround to move your data even if you are going to keep the sign-in info for both accounts.

First, you can get your reports from QuickBooks Self-Employed. Follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Reports menu.
  3. Find the Tax details report.
  4. Choose the correct tax year.
  5. Click Download and save the report.

Then, you can manually enter the info into Turbo Tax Self-Employed. See the instructions below:

  1. Open a new browser window and sign in to TurboTax Self-Employed.
  2. Start or resume your tax filing.
  3. When you reach the section about income, use your Tax details report to complete the fields.
  4. Finish filing your taxes.

Here is an article you can read for the complete details: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax data to TurboTax Self-Employed using different sign-in info.

For future reference, I'm adding this article to help you estimate your income tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed: Automatically estimate your income tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to comment below if you have questions about moving your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed to Turbo Tax. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
