A higher resolution results in the computer decreasing the size of the windows and contents to display more in a given space. Decreasing the resolution results in the computer increasing the size of windows, so you might have to scroll left or right to see some of the displayed information. QuickBooks, can detect screen resolution and adjust the font size accordingly. This will change the font sizes on the screen to coincide with any adjustments

Please know that QuickBooks is designed and coded for the Default Windows dot per inch (DPI) value of 100% (96 DPI). Many systems with high-resolution displays now ship with DPI settings of 125% to 150%. To resolve this, you can set the Windows DPI to Smaller 100 (96DPI). Reducing the DPI setting will make text in Windows smaller as the DPI is lowered.
