I recognize how crucial it is for you to access Word so you can send the collection letter to your customers, @akandiwaterinc. It's not the service we want you to experience. I've got some updates about this matter.

The investigation regarding the Customer Letters not opening in Word has already been resolved. Since you're experiencing this issue, I highly recommend updating your product to its latest installed version to get the latest security patches and fixes for your system.

If your version is already up-to-date and you're still encountering the issue, you may contact our Support team to help you investigate it further. They are equipped with the necessary tools to examine the root cause of this problem and provide you with a solution. Here's how to reach our experts:

  1. Click the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us, then enter that you get Reminder prompts and Continue.
  3. Then choose to Message an Agent or Talk to a Specialist.

To ensure your customers have a clear understanding of their account status, you may consider utilizing customer statements, which provide a summary of their invoices, payments, credits, and consbalances: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please don't hesitate to reach us if you have any further questions or concerns about managing customer collection letters or any other QuickBooks-related queries. We're always available to help you navigate any next steps that may be needed, and we're just a click away.
