Keep in mind, the article is comparing between QB Online (not QB Desktop) and FreshBooks. I still prefer QB Desktop than cloud based apps. If you decide switching to FreshBooks, you may consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service later.

Another option, keep using your QB Desktop 2021 after May 2024 + a 3rd party payroll app to lower your costs. You will register your payroll expenses as JE in QB Desktop.
