I’m here to share information and steps to help you fix your 1099 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If your form has been rejected, you’ll receive a notification via email stating why your 1099s forms in QBO have been rejected together with an in-product notification 1099 workflow will be provided.

 

After following the steps listed within the in-product rejection notice in the 1099 workflow to fix and resubmit their 1099s. If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our support team. The QBO Payroll Team will conduct further investigation into this matter and provide an adequate solution.

 

To contact our support team:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Enter your concern, then select Let's Talk.
  4. To get started, select one of the tabs:
  • When you choose "Chatyou’ll be having a chat with our customer support within five minutes.
  • When you choose "Callback" - you’ll have a spot on our line, and call you back within five minutes.
