I spent a few hours talking with Quickbooks with no resolution. My advice, is void it in QBO and use a different program (efile4biz) or mail in your 1099s this year. They told me there was nothing wrong and that the irs will accept the forms with the SSN in the EIN format… it doesn’t seem to be a high priority for them to fix. They kept telling me to make sure I have everything entered correctly.
