Buy nowYou are not understanding myself and others on this thread! The SSN associated with my business is and always has been correctly entered and displayed in my account settings. I have made no changes this year and have had no problems with past year 1099-MISC filings. The 1099-MISC's I created and electronically submitted via QuickBooks a few days ago were rejected by the IRS today. I did not notice until I received their email, but YOUR 1099 FORM SYSTEM APPEARS TO BE GLITCHING! My business SSN (formatted XXX-XX-XXXX) was automatically populated in the 1099-MISC forms as an EIN (XX-XXXXXXX). There is no where for a customer to change this or force it to be corrected. THIS MATTER NEEDS TO BE ESCALATED & FIXED ASAP, as the continued canned responses are not helpful. It's nothing any of us are doing incorrectly, or can fix on our own.
