Buy nowYou are not understanding. The SSN for my business is correctly-entered and always has been. I have made no changes to it for 2023 filings. The 1099-MISC's I created and submitted via QuickBooks a few days ago are glitching. I didn't notice it, and the IRS rejected it. My correctly-entered SSN (XXX-XX-XXXX) is being formatted on those as an EIN (XX-XXXXXXX). There is no where for me to change or force correct formatting on the 1099-MISC forms. It is automatically populated there from my account information, and is being automatically incorrectly formatted. Based on this thread, I am not the only customer experiencing this. The issue needs to be escalated ASAP.
