Hello! I think this is only helpful when the business has an EIN and is not a sole proprietor operating as a business with only their SSN. I have contractors, no employees.  This contractor is a sole proprietor and wants his 1099 to reflect his business name. When going to contractor and filing as a business, there is no option to add a social security number, only an EIN. Is there another option to adding them? Vendor, perhaps?
