Intuit is such a mess, they have become so greedy.  I don't see that there is a solution to efile 1099's through QB Desktop.  You have to sign up for a monthly service plan with Intuit that starts at $7.50 month and includes them paying your contractors.  Does this make any sense at all for a REAL business with in house accounting?  I think not.  I'm so pissed at Intuit and the continuing pressure to pay an annual fee to keep our desktop product and/or switch to that lousy product called QB Online.

I didn't know about the new efile rule so I'm scurrying.to find a solution.
