I'm here to inform you that there's an ongoing investigation regarding the issue of the product category not appearing in the drop-down when attempting to create a new product.

 

However, it seems that you can input all the details, but the problem lies with the Save button. You can attempt to resolve this by clearing your browser's cache or using a different supported browser.
 

If this solution doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend contacting our Support Team to include your name on the list of affected users, as you're encountering difficulty creating a new product category. This behavior is closely linked to the current investigation. Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. In your QBO account, click on the Help icon.
  2. Choose Contact us.
  3. Provide a brief description of your issue and follow the on-screen instructions.
