Thanks for joining in this thread, @Bailey8. Let's go over some troubleshooting steps to ensure you can access the Top Icon Bar in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

In some cases, an unusual product behavior is caused by a temporary issue with the company file. To verify this, access the Top Icon Bar using a sample one and see if it appears.

If it worked on the test file, return to the original one and utilize the Verify and Rebuild tool. The verify tool identifies the most common issues in a company file, and the rebuild tool repairs them. To verify your company data:

  1. Go to Window and click Close All.
  2. Select File, then Utilities.
  3. Click Verify Data.

Here's how to rebuild:

  1. Go to File, select Utilities, then Rebuild Data.
  2. Press OK when QBDT asks to make a backup. Choose where to save it and click OK.
  3. Select OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.

If the issue persists, use the QuickBooks Tool Hub. It includes a set of tools to aid with different sorts of problems.

Additionally, QBDT provides several reports that display information from your company file.

Feel free to get back to us whenever you need further assistance in viewing the menu bar in QBDT. I'll be happy to return to this thread to address your queries. Keep safe, and have a great rest of the day.
