Let me provide you with troubleshooting steps that can resolve the error message you received, @ashley007.

 

Microsoft has replaced Internet Explorer with Edge as its main web browser. However, Internet Explorer is still in Windows 10. If you don’t see Internet Explorer on your computer, here’s how to open it through Edge:

 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Select the button with three dots (...) at the top right of the browser window.
  3. Choose Open with Internet Explorer.
  4. Follow the steps above to clear the cookies and cache.

 

If clearing the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer doesn’t fix the problems, you can change the Compatibility View settings in Internet Explorer. To change them follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Select the Tools ⚙ icon. Or, press the Alt key on your computer to bring up the menu bar, then select the Tools menu.
  3. Click Compatibility View Settings from the menu.
  4. In the Add this website field, enter "https://*.intuit.com" and select Add. Repeat this step for both "https://*.intuit.net" and "https://*.quickbooks.com."
  5. Choose Close.

 

On the other hand, you may also change the internet connection settings in QuickBooks. This makes sure the new settings take effect immediately in QuickBooks.

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop
  2. Go to the Help menu and select Internet Connection Setup.
  3. Select Use my computer’s Internet connection settings, then select Next.
  4. Set Advanced Connection Settings. This opens the Internet Options window where you can change the settings.
