Based on the screenshot you provided, you can normally remove the "Sales tax" word from the description by editing the Inventory item details. Here's how:
- Open QuickBooks Desktop and go to the Lists menu.
- Choose Item List to view your inventory items.
- Locate the specific item that you want to edit and double-click on it to open the Edit Item window.
- In the Description field, you will likely see the "Sales tax" word along with the item description. You can delete or modify the description to remove the "Sales tax" word.
- Then click OK to save the changes.
If this isn't the case and you already attempted editing the item description, but it still doesn't remove the Sales tax word when printing, you can re-sort the item list to fix any odd behavior.
