You can restore the two files that won't back up with your most recent backup before the Sonoma update. It's also essential to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop Mac (QBDT Mac) version to use the new functionalities and improve system performance.

 

I suggest contacting QBDT Mac support to verify data integrity before upgrading. They're available weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT. Here's how:

 

  1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/help/en-us/contact-us.
  2. Select QuickBooks for Mac and click Continue.
  3. Type in your concern and then hit Continue.
  4. Pick Chat or Callback.

 

Also, in case you encounter any issues with your QB files, Intuit Data Services is here to help you. You can refer to any email sent by the team regarding your data services case to get a direct chat link. They're available Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
