It is not Quickbooks, as they clearly are washing their hands of any solution. They are partnering with a 3rd party app that charges the fees.  It is structured where the cost per 1099 decreases, the more you buy.  Still crazy that Quickbooks can e-file W-2 forms and 941 forms without a hiccup, but have just ignored the looming 1099 e-file requirement fast approaching.
